In 2001, she earned a certificate in Veterinary Chiropractic after completing the Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) course and began practicing that same year throughout Orange County. Dr. Bodenbender takes pride in her work with animals. Along with treating her animal patients, she strives to educate the owners in the various ways to increase treatment outcomes for their beloved pet.
Dr. Bodenbender working on Lena after losing her left front limb to cancer. The transition from quadrupedalism (4 legs) to tripedalism (3 legs) can be initially challenging regarding overall balance. During this time, the dogs’ body mechanics must adapt and change often creating various joint and spinal stress. Chiropractic care aids in alleviating such stress.

Testimonial
“After adopting my Beagle, Lilly, and knowing she suffered from back pain upon adopting her, I discovered Dr. Bodenbender. She addressed Lilly’s blown disc and arthritis issues and gave her improved mobility well into her senior years giving our family additional quality time with Lilly. Because of that positive outcome, I’ve now chosen to have my new Great Dane puppy treated by “Dr.B” every 2 months as a preventive measure. Additionally, she’s offered me great advice for him nutritionally and answered all of my questions regarding supplementation for my large breed dog. Thanks Doc !”
